Hurst Day

What isÌýHurst Day?

Imagine waking up to bagpipes echoing throughout campus, the Hurst Day flag waving in the sky, and Luke the Laker sporting his own bagpipe and Hurst Day t-shirt. That can only mean one thing: classes are CANCELED, and the biggest surprise of the semester—Hurst Day—is HERE.

No one knows when Hurst Day is coming, which is half the fun! Without warning, the campus transforms into a total carnival-like celebration. Think: giant inflatables, obstacle courses, rock walls, music, food, games, prizes, and a whole lot of Laker pride!

This is the kind of day you’ll remember. Whether you’re diving into the scavenger hunt with your crew, racing across Trinity Green, or just soaking it all in—Hurst Day is a core memory waiting to happen. And yes, it ends with a steak dinner.

When isÌýHurst Day?

Nice try. It’s top secret until the moment it happens.
